You’re a woman.

You have this charming, handsome, wonderful fiance who adores you and your daughters.

But suddenly he starts changing. Becoming distant.

Not quite the exact same man you fell in love with over the last 9 months.

You call him from work and you hear a woman in the background. He insists “no no sweetie, it’s my HR rep at work”. Every fiber of your being is screaming yelling thrashing with certainty: he is cheating.

You dash out of work. You get in your car. You rush home ready to catch him with a woman spread eagle.

But instead… you find him dead. Surrounded by a pool of blood.

Kept me on my toes til the very end. Immediately recommended it to a bunch of reading pals. I really got sucked into these characters’ lives and thought it was horrifyingly demonstrative of the current climate, the people we walk amongst, the layers of good and evil that lay within a person... it was haunting.
