Frankie moves into her brand new place for a brand new start after her crappy marriage ends when her cheating husband’s bad behavior comes to light and his nonchalant attitude around it leaves her in a puddle of tears (probably) while picking up the broken pieces of her life.

On her first day in her brand new house, her curious cat goes out on his daily excursion and comes back with "help me" scratched into his collar. Thus begins Frankie's spiral into madness and savior-hood simultaneously.

Things I liked:

-unique premise: I love the idea of Blue the Cat being this unwitting hero but his only true motivation is food and exploration.

-the alternating POV with the Cat Cam

-strange neighbors that you can’t quite put a finger on

-a mysterious backstory on the house Frankie has moved into

-and a missing girl that no one seems to know is missing

This book gave me the perfect amount of anxiety to keep me thinking about the story, flipping the page, and wanting to yell at Frankie for her often chaotic actions.
